Sound Attenuated Generator Enclosure Levels Explained

Generator manufactures use various concepts when designing sound-attenuating enclosures in order to reduce generator set noise. Examples of these concepts include an acoustic barrier, acoustic insulation, isolation mounts, cooling air attenuation, exhaust muffler, and an enclosure location.
